Building Department carries out maintenance of different buildings of Municipal Corporation and the work of development in open plots owned by the Corporation as per budget provision. In addition it carries out different types of constructions viz. Schools, Shopping Centers, Commercial Complex etc. required to be carried out as per different grants. Further necessary repairing – maintenance is being done in building premises of the respective departments.

Different construction activities are in progress at present as per the progress report annexed herewith through building department, in which schools, shopping complex etc. information are shown marked with the work.

In addition the information regarding staff setup is provided as per the statement annexed. The work regarding sale of any shopping center or any construction is not done by this department, such work is being done by estate department.
