This department works for preparation of new TP Schemes of Municipal Corporation, Correspondence with the Govt. and implementation of approved TP Schemes, granting permission to the new construction of buildings, flat shop residential and non residential buildings and for addition alteration, division of plots and amalgmation and approval of layout and occupancy certificate on completion of the construction. This department carries out assessment of monthly rent of newly constructed buildings for the purpose of house tax. The procedure under section 260(1), 260(2) of the BPMC Act is carried out for preventing construction of buildings without permission and to demolish the construction.
