| The
selected area is divided in small sub divisions [200
to 250 families]. One representative is elected from
each sub-division. The association of such 10 to 20
representatives is formed as “Development Society”.
By clubbing more than one such associations, “Area Development
Conference” is formed. And by including one representative
of each area conference, a Union is formed. Each association
forms its own constitution and works for the development
in his area of operation.
In the meetings of association, the
programmes are planned that the information for providing
information of Government, Semi Government and Voluntary
Organization Schemes are available to the lowest person
of the society and the people get the benefit of such
schemes. The scheme has come into force from December
1997, in which economically, socially and educationally
backward and families leading their lives below poverty
line as per the guidelines of the Central Government
have been identified and population of 143881 in 33318
families have been covered. |
