| This scheme was introduced
in the city during the year 1976-77 on dt.12/2/78.
This scheme is 100% granted for which 50% grant is given
by State Government and 50% grant is given by the Central
Government as Assistance Grant, from which committed
level expense of the year 1976-77 [Rs.89728/-] is deducted.
50 Temfos/Abette, 10090 E.C. Betex, Becticide, Pyrethram
Extract are provided by the Government free of charge.
By order of the Government it was informed not to include
L.T.C., Bonus, Medical Allowance in the Grant from the
year 1999 and to make expenditure of the same from own
fund of the Corporation. Thereafter, from the year
2000 onwards, the grant is disbursed for pay, dearness
allowance and house rent – for three heads. It was
informed to disburse other allowances from own fund
of Municipal Corporation instead of including the same
in Government grant.
The staff position from 1978 is total 98 employees
including Biologist, Malaria Inspector, Insect Collector,
Superior Field Worker, Field Worker, Driver.
